Dance with Purpose MN is a Black-owned, and women operated competition dance organization based in Saint Paul.

They are focused on serving kids ages 5 - 18 years old and will be utilizing the performance space for rehearsal space 2 days per week.

The CO·MOTION COLLECTIVE is made up of 10 groups and 14 trainers who occupy the same building and, in some instances, share the same studios. Our strength and sustainability rely on us working jointly. Our CO·MOTION COLLECTIVE also serves as CO·MOTION’S Advisory Group.

In 2017, one of the components of the Art of Boxing—Sport of Ballet Knight Arts Challenge was to work in collaboration with students from the High School of Recording Arts to film and photograph the performance to create several short films and collections to share with the community. The purpose was to empower students to take an active role in the collaborative process from pre-production through editing under the direction and mentoring of a local filmmaker, Maribeth Romslo. SPB and Romslo came to media classes for three months and mentored students.
